It is one day before one of the most important elections in recent history. It is time to remember the important facts about Senator Obama. You cannot be an informed voter if you simply think about the slogans that he has been using to hypnotize the masses, “Yes, we can” and “Change We Need.” (Suspiciously, these slogans seem to be a call to action for African-Americans and the other a call to action against President George Bush.)

Reverend Jeremiah Wright

Let’s start with the Reverend Jeremiah Wright and his preaching “Not God bless America, but God damn America.” This was Obama’s spiritual leader and the preacher who baptized his children. The title of Obama’s book, “The Audacity of Hope” is taken from a Reverend Wright sermon. Could Obama really not know about Wright’s views? Do you really believe that he could be that naive? I don’t think so. Here are two videos:

The second video is a racist attack on white people:

Acorn

Then there is Acorn. This is a non-profit group that is supposed to be non-partisan, but has proven beyond a doubt to be supporting Obama. Obama has said that he has minimal involvement with Acorn, but he has worked for Project Vote which is an Acorn project, he has represented Acorn in a lawsuit and he has paid Acorn $880,000 dollar for canvassing efforts.

Acorn is being investigated in about a dozen states for registering fake people (an entire football team in Nevada), registering the same person more than once and, in at least one state, for having someone vote illegally. If I were Obama, I would also claim I had nothing to do with this group. Don’t be fooled, Acorn is for Obama and Obama is for Acorn. Watch this video:

There is more on Acorn on this site.

Spread The Wealth

The next Obama forget-me-not is the tax issue. His now famous, “spread the wealth” comment to Joe Wurzelbacher, now known as “Joe The Plumber,” indicates that he wants to tax hard working people and distribute it to others–some who do not even pay any taxes. He also states clearly that he is against a flat tax because it would require a national sales tax of about 40%.

Joe, who had the temerity to ask a presidential candidate a meaningful question, was investigated by Democrat operatives in Ohio. His driver’s abstract and other private records where looked at illegally by state workers trying to find “dirt” on this citizen. As of today, he has received a death threat on the air from a radio talk show host (KGO) who supports Obama. All this for answering the door, meeting Obama and asking him one question.

Here is the video of Joe asking Obama his now famous question:

Kill Joe The Plumber

Here is video and more importantly audio of liberal, gay talk show host Karel cursing repeatedly and saying he wants “mother fucking Joe the plumber dead.”

Ayers & Khalidi, Terrorists?

Let’s not forget William Ayers or Rashid Khalidi. Ayers is an admitted, and non-repentant terrorist, who bombed a police station in the United States and continues to believe in anarchy and destruction. Khalidi is alleged to have been the spokesman for the Palestinian Liberation Organization during the Arafat years. Obama, as usual, has said that he has had minimal contact with these individuals.

The truth is that Obama was on the board of directors of the Woods Fund with Ayers and used that foundation to funnel money to Acorn. The truth is that there is a tape that the Los Angeles Times is withholding from the public which shows Obama with Ayers celebrating Khalidi on his departure from Illinois for a job in New York. Here is a quote from the Los Angeles Times article published on April 10, 2008.

A special tribute came from Khalidi’s friend and frequent dinner companion, the young state Sen. Barack Obama. Speaking to the crowd, Obama reminisced about meals prepared by Khalidi’s wife, Mona, and conversations that had challenged his thinking.

Tony Rezco & Fraud

Another troublesome Obama relationship is the one with Tony Rezco. Rezco, a convicted felon, concocted a scheme to help Senator Obama and his wife purchase the mansion they live in. Although this is a known fact, Obama denies any ties to Rezco. It is also a known fact that Obama helped Rezco get $100 million in grants, loans and tax credits for 11 buildings in Obama’s district that are now boarded up. Rezco was convicted of fraud and is now in the process of naming people that were also complicit in his fraud. He is doing this to get a lesser sentence. Unfortunately for us, the facts will not be revealed prior to the election.

Here is a telling video from the local NBC affiliate:

I’m spotting a trend here. Obama denies involvement with questionable characters, but the facts show that he has known the characters well and has even provided funding using his position at the moment.

Freedom of the Press?

Senator Obama is also guilty of ousting reporters from his campaign plane because the newspapers that they represent endorsed Senator McCain. He also told a Florida television station that they would not get access because an anchor there asked Senator Joe Biden some tough questions. This has to be giving the press a chill. It has even made me fearful of continuing this blog if he gets elected. This Obama tendency is scary and dictatorial. Can we afford this in the United States of America? I don’t think that this is the “change we need.”

Biden: Obama will be Tested

As long as I’ve brought up Senator Biden, let’s not forget his prescient statements about Obama being tested immediately if he becomes president. Biden believes that Obama will be tested by a major international event and that his response will not be obviously correct.

In a Seattle event, Biden said, “Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America.” He then followed it up with, “Remember I said it standing here, if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy. He’s gonna have to make some really tough – I don’t know what the decision’s gonna be, but I promise you it will occur. As a student of history and having served with seven presidents, I guarantee you it’s gonna happen.”

Here is the video:

Guns & Religion

Senator Obama has also shown his disdain for people of faith during his campaign. In a San Francisco event, he attacked people of Pennsylvania as bitter bible huggers, who cling to their guns and religion. Watch the video and listen to the audio:

The Charlatan Fund-Raiser

There are so many reasons not to vote for Obama, but the last one that I will mention here is the lack of transparency in his fund-raising. He has taken in over $600 million dollars with much of it from “small” untraceable donors on his web site. These donations are below the reporting threshold that is required by law. Obama’s web site does not check for address verification when someone makes a donation. You can say that you are Mickey Mouse on the Planet Pluto, input a gift card purchased anonymously, and donate to Senator Obama as many times as you want.

There are examples of fictional names used for donations and there have been investigations by newspapers. You can read more about it in a post on this site.

The fund-raising scams have prompted a former secretary of state to call Obama a “charlatan.” Is this the “change we need?” I don’t think so. The following video shows former Secretary of State Lawrence Eagleburger calling Obama a charlatan.

It’s Your Turn, Vote.

Tomorrow, you have a choice. You can choose a man who has served his country first and has given more than any of us could ever give. (Try imagining yourself getting your arms broken and being tortured for years. Would you be able to take it?) Alternatively, you can vote for a man who is associated with known terrorists, alleged terrorist sympathizers, convicted felons, questionable non-profits and preachers who show disdain for the country that we love.

Be smart. Vote for the change we really need: the team that will put country first: McCain-Palin.

Thank you for reading my humble opinions.

Senator Obama has repeatedly said that he wants tax breaks for he middle class. He has told “Joe the Plumber” that he wants to “spread the wealth.” When he started this quasi-Socialist spread-the-wealth campaign, Obama defined the people who would be receiving tax breaks as those families that make less than $250,000 per year.

At a follow up campaign event, Obama changed his definition and reduced it to those of us making less than $200,000. Alright, he ran the numbers and made a mistake and was fixing it. I would accept that, except that a few days later when Senator “hiding” Biden was allowed to speak again, he said that they would provide tax relief to families making less than $150,000.

As if this downward spiral of lies were not enough, Governor Richardson of New Mexico yesterday said that the number would be $120,000. Well what is it? I am very confused at this point. Senator Obama has not said how he would make up for the budget shortfall that his ideas and programs would create.

What Obama has said is rather offensive. He said his redistribution of wealth is not Socialist, but instead that Senator McCain’s programs are “selfish.” I believe that his programs are Socialist and dangerous. We are at a time in our history where fiscal stability is paramount. Drowning us with new taxes will only drown the country. Watch this video:

After the Biden interview, Senator Obama canceled an interview that was scheduled for Jill Biden on the station because he was angry at the questions that were asked of Senator Biden. Is this an example of what we can expect from an Obama presidency? Will he shut out news outlets that do not conform to his world view? Let’s not find out. Vote for McCain.

Senator Joe Biden, who is running with Senator Obama, has said at two events in the west coast that if Obama is elected president, he will be tested by some international crisis within six months of his presidency. Biden made these comments in Seattle, Washington and San Francisco, California.

In Seattle, Biden said, “Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America.” He then followed it up with, “Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said.

Thank you Senator Biden. I think that your words are the best endorsement for a McCain presidency that has been made by a Democrat so far (although Senator Hillary Clinton also made a compelling case). I have been saying repeatedly that Obama is not the man for this most important of jobs. We have international terrorism to worry about. Russia is becoming increasingly militaristic and building up its army and weaponry. China is expanding its missile capabilities and its nuclear arsenal. We are also in the middle of two conflicts and need to worry about Iran and North Korea. Do we really need a young, inexperienced president at the helm? I don’t think so. The thought of it makes me very afraid. Thank you Senator Biden for your honesty. Next time, just be direct and tell people to vote for Senator McCain.

During the vice presidential debates, Senator Joseph Biden asserted that the role of the vice president was defined in Article I of the constitution. He also asserted that the role of the vice president was to "support the president of the United States of America, give that president his or her best judgment when sought, and as vice president, to preside over the Senate, only in a time when in fact there’s a tie vote. The Constitution is explicit."

Well so much for his experience and superior knowledge. The role of the vice president is actually defined in Article II of the constitution. The vice president is the president of the Senate and has the responsibility to interpret the rules of the Senate and to break tie votes. Since he is part of the executive branch, but also is president of the Senate, the one who was correct was Governor Palin when she said that the vice presidency is unique in that it has a part in two branches of government. Bravo Governor!

Let’s see what mistakes Senator Obama makes tonight and how the radical left defends those mistakes.

Yesterday’s vice presidential debate was as exciting as it could get. Senator Biden and Governor Palin were able to meet face to face and compete for votes unfiltered by any show or interviewer. Senator Biden presented facts and figures and proved that he has knowledge of the minutiae of politics. Governor Palin held her own on facts and figures, but instead of overwhelming the viewer with these instead appealed to the voter’s hearts and by connection, their minds.

By anyone’s estimation, Governor Palin won the debate and garnered new support for the McCain-Palin ticket. This should come as no surprise to anyone. Senator McCain would not have picked someone who was incompetent or weak. This is a strong, intelligent woman who knows how to connect with the American people. She is the real thing and has an unbelievable future ahead of her.

Biden attempted to deride McCain’s plan to allow drilling by saying that his only solution to the energy issue is to “Drill, drill, drill.” When Palin’s turn came up she corrected him and said that the correct chant is, “Drill, baby, drill.” She smiled and the audience was hers. She might as well have said, “We’re going to win, baby, win!”

Senator Biden repeatedly tried to link Senator McCain to George Bush. He, like Senator Obama, appears to be running against Bush instead of McCain. On one of Biden’s attempts to say that Bush did this or that, Governor Palin cleverly responded, “Say it ain’t so, Joe… There you go again talking about the past.” After that clever line, she went on to explain that the campaigns should be discussing the future and what could be done for the American public going forward.

If there was one message that Governor Palin drove home is that she and McCain are mavericks and that they will inject new ideas into Washington. She also stressed that she has experienced the same things that all American’s have including difficulty paying insurance bills and worrying about paying college tuition.

She proved that she was witty, clever, smart and articulate. Now we need Senator McCain to follow this strike against the Obama-Biden ticket with two more strikes in the next two presidential debates. If he can do that, the Obama-Biden ticket will be out and we the American people will be better off for it. Come on Senator McCain! Win, baby, win!

One way to judge a presidential candidate is by the decisions that he makes. When Senator Obama became the presumptive nominee for the Democrat party, the first decision he had to make was who would be his running mate. The obvious and most intelligent choice would have been Hillary Clinton. She was strong in states where he was weak and she appealed to women nationally. Her choice would have made it practically impossible for Senator McCain to have a chance at winning the presidency.

Senator Obama’s decision is now history. For the vice presidential slot, he picked someone who was not threatening to him. He picked Senator Biden–someone who had run for president many times and garnered perhaps three votes (from family members). This decision shows more about Obama’s lack of leadership than anything else in his background. He is a weak leader who makes poor decisions. He did not want a strong woman or anyone else who could challenge his status as media darling.

I’m not saying that I would have wanted Senator Obama to pick Hillary. I do not like her politics or her power grab in New York. I am simply saying that by not selecting her, Obama showed how weak he is. He showed his fear of the Clintons. He also did not want someone who could overshadow him. The right decision for him would have been to pick the person that could clinch him the presidency. That person was, obviously, Senator Hillary Clinton.

Senator McCain has done the exact opposite. He has consistently taken chances and he picked someone who could bring new vigor to his campaign. He picked an unknown woman who is spirited, strong and who has convictions in her beliefs. Picking Sarah Palin brought him closer to winning the presidency. She electrified the Republican party and made even liberal women pay attention to a campaign that was a sleeper before her selection.

Sarah Palin is the popular Governor of Alaska. She has run campaigns and won. She has apportioned budgets and made major decisions. She is a real person with a real family and she scares liberal Democrats and their supporters. They should be scared. Senator McCain and Governor Palin are a winning combination. Once McCain-Palin win in November, Vice President Palin will be positioned to run for president in the future and it will be the Republican party that has the first female president. That will be history and Senator McCain’s decision to pick Governor Palin will be seen as brilliant and presidential. Senator Obama’s fateful decision will also be seen for what it is: a weak and fearful decision from someone who talked a good game and didn’t deliver.
