What prompted me to finally write about them again is their complete lack of shame over what they have done. Instead of being apologetic and making sure that they created an environment that did not foster illegalities, they are now pursuing legal action against the two journalist that infiltrated and filmed them and also the owner of the web site that posted the videos. They have the attitude that they are they ones who have been wronged. It is shameless and unforgivable.

Congress needs to stop all funding of Acorn and of all its affiliated organizations and individuals. In addition to that, the Justice Department needs to pursue a RICO investigation into their actions. This is a nation of laws and President Obama’s pet community organizers are not above it. What do you think?

Time needs to get over its lack of influence and stop attacking the Becks of this world. It is through Beck’s program that many of Acorn’s most recent egregious behaviors have been publicized. He also led the charge against the proliferation of so called, “czars” in the Obama white house. These are individuals appointed to prominent positions with no congressional oversight. Van Jones was one of these czars that Beck helped remove.

The Time article attacks the counting of how many people went to the Tea Party rally in Washington. Regardless of whether 70,000 of 1 million attended the event, I can assure the author that there are millions more who are upset at the current policies and the lack of willingness of the Democrats to listen to the wants, needs, fears and wishes of the American public.

Reverend Jeremiah Wright

Let’s start with the Reverend Jeremiah Wright and his preaching “Not God bless America, but God damn America.” This was Obama’s spiritual leader and the preacher who baptized his children. The title of Obama’s book, “The Audacity of Hope” is taken from a Reverend Wright sermon. Could Obama really not know about Wright’s views? Do you really believe that he could be that naive? I don’t think so. Here are two videos:

Acorn

Then there is Acorn. This is a non-profit group that is supposed to be non-partisan, but has proven beyond a doubt to be supporting Obama. Obama has said that he has minimal involvement with Acorn, but he has worked for Project Vote which is an Acorn project, he has represented Acorn in a lawsuit and he has paid Acorn $880,000 dollar for canvassing efforts.

Acorn is being investigated in about a dozen states for registering fake people (an entire football team in Nevada), registering the same person more than once and, in at least one state, for having someone vote illegally. If I were Obama, I would also claim I had nothing to do with this group. Don’t be fooled, Acorn is for Obama and Obama is for Acorn. Watch this video:

Spread The Wealth

The next Obama forget-me-not is the tax issue. His now famous, “spread the wealth” comment to Joe Wurzelbacher, now known as “Joe The Plumber,” indicates that he wants to tax hard working people and distribute it to others–some who do not even pay any taxes. He also states clearly that he is against a flat tax because it would require a national sales tax of about 40%.

Joe, who had the temerity to ask a presidential candidate a meaningful question, was investigated by Democrat operatives in Ohio. His driver’s abstract and other private records where looked at illegally by state workers trying to find “dirt” on this citizen. As of today, he has received a death threat on the air from a radio talk show host (KGO) who supports Obama. All this for answering the door, meeting Obama and asking him one question.

Kill Joe The Plumber

Here is video and more importantly audio of liberal, gay talk show host Karel cursing repeatedly and saying he wants “mother fucking Joe the plumber dead.”

Ayers & Khalidi, Terrorists?

Let’s not forget William Ayers or Rashid Khalidi. Ayers is an admitted, and non-repentant terrorist, who bombed a police station in the United States and continues to believe in anarchy and destruction. Khalidi is alleged to have been the spokesman for the Palestinian Liberation Organization during the Arafat years. Obama, as usual, has said that he has had minimal contact with these individuals.

The truth is that Obama was on the board of directors of the Woods Fund with Ayers and used that foundation to funnel money to Acorn. The truth is that there is a tape that the Los Angeles Times is withholding from the public which shows Obama with Ayers celebrating Khalidi on his departure from Illinois for a job in New York. Here is a quote from the Los Angeles Times article published on April 10, 2008.

A special tribute came from Khalidi’s friend and frequent dinner companion, the young state Sen. Barack Obama. Speaking to the crowd, Obama reminisced about meals prepared by Khalidi’s wife, Mona, and conversations that had challenged his thinking.

Tony Rezco & Fraud

Another troublesome Obama relationship is the one with Tony Rezco. Rezco, a convicted felon, concocted a scheme to help Senator Obama and his wife purchase the mansion they live in. Although this is a known fact, Obama denies any ties to Rezco. It is also a known fact that Obama helped Rezco get $100 million in grants, loans and tax credits for 11 buildings in Obama’s district that are now boarded up. Rezco was convicted of fraud and is now in the process of naming people that were also complicit in his fraud. He is doing this to get a lesser sentence. Unfortunately for us, the facts will not be revealed prior to the election.

I’m spotting a trend here. Obama denies involvement with questionable characters, but the facts show that he has known the characters well and has even provided funding using his position at the moment.

Freedom of the Press?

Senator Obama is also guilty of ousting reporters from his campaign plane because the newspapers that they represent endorsed Senator McCain. He also told a Florida television station that they would not get access because an anchor there asked Senator Joe Biden some tough questions. This has to be giving the press a chill. It has even made me fearful of continuing this blog if he gets elected. This Obama tendency is scary and dictatorial. Can we afford this in the United States of America? I don’t think that this is the “change we need.”

Biden: Obama will be Tested

As long as I’ve brought up Senator Biden, let’s not forget his prescient statements about Obama being tested immediately if he becomes president. Biden believes that Obama will be tested by a major international event and that his response will not be obviously correct.

In a Seattle event, Biden said, “Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America.” He then followed it up with, “Remember I said it standing here, if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy. He’s gonna have to make some really tough – I don’t know what the decision’s gonna be, but I promise you it will occur. As a student of history and having served with seven presidents, I guarantee you it’s gonna happen.”

Guns & Religion

Senator Obama has also shown his disdain for people of faith during his campaign. In a San Francisco event, he attacked people of Pennsylvania as bitter bible huggers, who cling to their guns and religion. Watch the video and listen to the audio:

The Charlatan Fund-Raiser

There are so many reasons not to vote for Obama, but the last one that I will mention here is the lack of transparency in his fund-raising. He has taken in over $600 million dollars with much of it from “small” untraceable donors on his web site. These donations are below the reporting threshold that is required by law. Obama’s web site does not check for address verification when someone makes a donation. You can say that you are Mickey Mouse on the Planet Pluto, input a gift card purchased anonymously, and donate to Senator Obama as many times as you want.

There are examples of fictional names used for donations and there have been investigations by newspapers. You can read more about it in a post on this site.

The fund-raising scams have prompted a former secretary of state to call Obama a “charlatan.” Is this the “change we need?” I don’t think so. The following video shows former Secretary of State Lawrence Eagleburger calling Obama a charlatan.

It’s Your Turn, Vote.

Tomorrow, you have a choice. You can choose a man who has served his country first and has given more than any of us could ever give. (Try imagining yourself getting your arms broken and being tortured for years. Would you be able to take it?) Alternatively, you can vote for a man who is associated with known terrorists, alleged terrorist sympathizers, convicted felons, questionable non-profits and preachers who show disdain for the country that we love.

Be smart. Vote for the change we really need: the team that will put country first: McCain-Palin.

Acorn gets $25 million a year of taxpayer funds. Is this fair?

Unless you have not listened to the news for months, you know that Acorn representatives have been registering people multiple times and even registering fake names and football star names from other states in various parts of the country. It is systemic and one of the biggest threats to the democratic process that we have seen in decades.

Since it receives tax dollars for its efforts, the Acorn group is supposed to be non-partisan. This is another hoax perpetrated on the American public. There have been numerous video clips on television of Acorn gatherings where they clearly state that they “need Obama and Obama needs them.”

I hope you do not drink the Kool-Aid by voting for Senator Obama. Please resist the urge to vote for a great orator and instead vote for a true leader–John McCain. Obama has been called a “tranformative” figure–I agree, he is someone that could very well transform the United States into something never seen before and that we would wish we had never seen.

It is too bad that Senator Obama has never lived by this advice. Maybe no one ever gave him this advice. If you analyze the people he has associated with over the years, you might think that he commits voter fraud, is a domestic terrorist, extorts money and believes in damning America. The worst thing about all this is that Senator Obama uses a similar excuse each time he is faced with these lapses of judgement. He either had no idea this was going on or did not know at the time that Ayers was a terrorist or that Reverend Wright made lengthy anti-American sermons.

The truth is that Bill Ayers and Senator Obama served on the board of the Woods Foundation which gave money several years in a row to ACORN which is now under investigation in ten states for voter fraud. The truth is that Obama has defended Acorn and has paid the organization $800,000 from his campaign. The truth is that Tony Rezco concocted a scheme to help Senator Obama and his wife purchase the mansion they live in. The truth is that Obama’s book, “The Audacity of Hope” is named after a sermon that Reverend Wright delivered at Trinity Church. Wright also married the Senator and his wife. It is difficult to believe that Obama did not know these people’s beliefs and weaknesses or Acorn’s disdain for the law.

Do you believe Senator Obama?

In 1992, Obama directed Project VOTE for Acorn. This grass-roots voter registration drive added 125,000 voters and is widely credited with getting Carol Moseley-Braun elected to the Senate. She was the first African American woman to become a member of the Senate and one of the most liberal Senators. Fortunately for the country, she was voted out when she lost to Republican Peter Fitzgerald in 1998 after one term.

Between 1993 and 2002, Obama was a board member for The Woods Fund of Chicago in Illinois. While there, he provided Acorn with tens of thousands of dollars a year. For anyone interested in more details, the exact amounts are available in the IRS form 990 for each year. This form is filed annually by non-profits and is public information.

In 1995, Obama and a team of other lawyers represented Acorn in a lawsuit against Illinois for failing to implement a federal law intended to make it easier for the poor to register and vote.

Recently, Senator Obama paid Acorn $800,000 to create get-out-the-vote efforts for the presidential campaign. He misrepresented what the money paid to Acorn would be used for to the Federal Election Commission. He originally had filed reports saying that the money was for polling, advance work and staging major events.

Acorn is currently being investigated in Seminole County, Florida for submitting faulty registrations with incorrect addresses and bad signatures. It is also being investigated in Clark County, Nevada, and Washington State. In fact, members of the group were convicted of felony voter fraud in Washington State last year and went to jail. There are many other investigations across the country. Just perform a search on the Internet and you will be surprised at the extent of the fraud. It is systemic and pervasive.

Is Senator Obama the kind of man that we want leading the country? His association with ACORN, Bill Ayers, Tony Rezco, and Reverend Wright show us that he is the riskiest presidential candidate that we have ever had. One mistake is forgivable, but a pattern of questionable associations is highly indicative of the man.
